China’s Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) has released a list of 38 high collision risk areas along the Chinese coast. This updated guideline aims to prevent collisions between merchant vessels and fishing boats. The provided list includes specific coordinates and characteristics for these risk zones, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a proper lookout and exercising careful navigation to avoid potential collisions with fishing vessels in these designated areas. The announcement was made on September 22, 2023.
