A wreck removal was achieved despite working through the COVID-19 pandemic and two hurricane seasons, facing the restrictions of the Jones Act and the OPA 90 framework (legislation intended to avoid oil spills from vessels and facilities). All taking place next to a busy ro-ro port and in full view of everyone on the nearby beach.
