Our correspondents from the People’s Republic of China, Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd, provided us with their latest circular highlighting the Fujian Maritime Safety Administration of P.R.C. and Fujian Department of Ocean and Fisheries’ announcement on publishing the First Batch of High-Risk Warning Areas of Collision between Merchant and Fishing Vessels (hereinafter referred to as ‘high-risk warning areas’), wherein the high-risk warning areas were published to remind vessels to prevent collision risks.
