The Joint Plan of Action agreed on November 24, 2013 between EU, US and Iran, which provided certain limited relief from the sanctions against Iran, was set to expire on 30th June, after several extensions. Yesterday the parties agreed to extend the Plan for seven days, through July 7, while negotiations continue over Iran’s nuclear program. All sanctions relief provided under the Plan will remain in effect through July 7, 2105. A summary of the relief can be found in our Member Alert from 28 November 2014.
