Qatar flagPlease note that the sanctions imposed by UAE, Saudi, Egypt and Bahrain on 5th June still continues to be in force and there has been no relaxations in the sanctions.

No cargo originating from Qatar can be discharged in the ports of UAE, Saudi, Bahrain and Egypt. Likewise no cargo originating from these ports can be discharged at Qatar. Non-Qatari flagged/owned/chartered vessels can call the port of Fujairah in UAE for stemming bunkers and replenishing supplies. However no crew change-including armed guards- are permitted at this Port. Vessels having Qatar as their immediate port-to and from, can call Jebel Ali subject to prior permission from the Jebel Ali Sea Port Immigration and Dubai Ports World. The decision whether to allow the vessel in or not is taken only at the time of submission of the request.

Empty vessels having discharged cargo at Qatar may be permitted to load cargo at Saudi, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt provided that the cargo is not destined for Qatar. However this is subject to approval by the port authorities and we suggest that members check with their agents in the respective ports for the latest situation as the rules can change at any time without any caveat.
