Wallenius was founded in 1934 and has become a leading company in global maritime transport, terminal services and logistics services.

Together with its subsidiaries, the company operates some 135 vessels specialising in the transport of cars and other rolling cargo. The order book for the group of companies currently comprises some 20 vessels to be delivered through 2012.

Wallenius aims to have the world’s best crews and provide training and development opportunities at sea and ashore. Wallenius also aims at offering the best onboard working environment: “most of what can be done ashore can now also be done at sea.”
